Hi Councillors! 
Please note that this forum is set up so that we can discuss stuff and we can share our views instead of over at SC blog where there's only a tiny tagboard. Even though a forum is set up, our dhsstudentcouncil.blogspot.com will still be in use
Also, the forum is new to me just as it is new to you, so please give the Administrators some time to set up the forum. Meanwhile, you can help by signing up to be a member.
Sign-Up
1. Click 'Log In'
2. Click 'Register'
3. Follow the instructions and you should be able to set up your acct w/o any difficulties.
4. Please use your own name as your username
5. If you're still puzzled, just msn karmen @ cowsandkarmen@gmail.com
Also, you will find that there are forums like 'Corporate Relations' and 'Level Council', basically departments, permissions are set up so please do not post in them if you have not become a member of the department.
Joining your Department
1. It's simple. At the top of the forum, you will be able to see many links like 'Home', 'Calendar' etc. Click on 'Usergroups'
2. Under the tab, 'JOIN A GROUP', select the department you are in currently, click 'View information'
3. Look around the page, there will be a button, 'JOIN GROUP', click on it, and bwalah! You are in the group!
4. Please do not join multiple departments even though you were from that dept, please join the dept you are currently in now.
Done? Good job! You are getting good at it, aren't you? Okay, to keep it going, you can click on the 'Profile' link at the top of the page and modify your information, make sure your birthdays are keyed in! Oh, do note that you are able to upload your own avatar and even make a signature! Tedious? Yes of course it is, but by doing so you will leave a mark when you post in the forums! So take some time to personalize your own account!
Now, what you really need to do is to post in all the topics that come under 'Cairns 2007'. You can even post or upload your photos in the forum, 'Cairns 2007' under 'Photographs' forum.
Hmmm, what about those who did not go for the Cairns trip? Fret not, there are your department forums for you post in! And a couple other forums you can participate in! So go wild and find these forums and start replying to the topics!
The usual applies, no vulgarities and no spamming. Please respect others' opinions and views and do not flame one another on the forum, i believe student councillors love one another right?
Oh, christmas is coming, those that are in favour and have ideas for the Christmas Outing, do participate in the forum too!
